The cost of the trip will be £2800. This includes everything, including pre-camps. We have budgeted to account for inflation and have allocated a 5% contingency. We will make every attempt to ensure the trip breaks even. If there is a dramatic change to travel pricing, we will advise of alterations to the trip regarding any price changes. This will be confirmed 12 months before the trip or when the rail network publishes its prices.

Fundraising

We will support a contingent approach to fundraising, helping run group-led events. Funds raised are allocated on a pro-rata basis based on attendance and support and only allocated to leaders attending the trip or young people. Young people are also encouraged to be entrepreneurial and do individual fundraising too.

Payment Dates

To make the trip more affordable, we’ve set up a flexible 21-phase payment plan, each payment due on the last day of the month eg 30th November 2025.

Participants will be invoiced monthly and can choose to pay by card through Stripe, direct debit (through GoCardless) or Bank Transfer.
